KABULASOKE FOCUS PRIMARY SCHOOL ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE MONTHS OF AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER:
We take this opportunity to greet you in the name of Jesus Christ our lord.
Dear brothers and sisters, we're here to present a monthly school report for the months of August and September 2023.
The term started on 11th/08/2023 and it will close on 8th/December/2023. The term started peacefully and with some blessings because we received a donation of 890 Euros from Cyprus and was used according to the instructions given by the senders,we do appreciate all your efforts and love you put in our children, we appreciate all brothers and sisters who contributed towards the wellbeing of these children.
Furthermore, we received also 1500 euros from Finland which also were used as directed by the senders/donors, we also thank all brothers and sisters from Finland for the great love you have upon our children, may the lord bless you abundantly.
Currently, we have enrollment of 158 girls and 145 boys, this makes a total number of 303 pupils, however we still have a hope of an increment in number.
NB. We asked all primary leaving candidates to come in Hostels / boarding section so as to have enough time for revision with them, we deed this by allowing only those candidates to bring only food, that's to say maize flour and beans so as to boost our academic performance for this year. So, currently we have 32 children in the dormitory/ Hostels ( boarding section). But this number is included in our general enrollment of 303 children which are currently at school.
a) ACHIEVEMENTS
The school received a great support from Finland which came as school fees for some orphans which helped us to buy food, firewood and so many other necessities which made the starting of the term easier.
We also paid teachers their last debt salaries, which also was supported by Finland team, this really gave teachers morale and reduced the pressure of having sleepless nights thinking how we could get money to pay teachers.
Many children got assistance in terms of scholastic materials/ basic needs from Cyprus team to use in their day to day lives
b) CHALLENGES:
We have a chellenge of lack of enough resources to use in agriculture, which would help us to prepare food for the next year in order to reduce on food high price expenditures also to have a food security at school.
Two teachers by names of Kabacwamba Deborah and TUMUHIMBISE SOPHIA and many children got serious illness though we are being helped by our kit, however according to the rate of sickness at school we need more drugs to help.
Some children though they're soon completing their primary level but they need prayers so that they can go on with their secondary studies because they're totally helpless next year and these include;
Mwesigwa Daniel
Tusemerirwe Mary
Nabaasa Rhodah
Kayesu charity.
CONCLUSION:
Our thanks go to you all brothers and sisters who have made a tremendous work of supporting us in one way or another, this makes us able and even put in more effort in doing this God's work, we believe that together we can make a difference.
As we informed you before, this school is aimed at caring for the helpless children in different fields but more especially, fighting for their rights, access to education and their basic needs like food and clothings.
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY.
